Fellow members of the human race… today is finally the day. The day I have been anticipating, the day that actually is more like weeks because I am writing this a long time in advance because I’m nervous. That day (weeks) is finally here (it took me a solid 2 minutes to comprehend going from day, singular, to weeks, plural, in that sentence… anyways).
Today I will finally be telling you about my holy grail product. The one product that I can not survive without. The product that has been with me through acne, hormonal breakouts, and smooth skin. This product is dependable and has and will NEVER betray me or my skin. This is literal liquid gold folks. As far as I’m concerned there is nothing on the market that you can buy that is as effective or glorious than this singular product. This is my hero (and definitely will become yours), Go-To’s Face Hero. CUE THE APPLAUSE! (Do you hear the applause? It's definitely there, listen carefully).
This truly is the best product currently on the market that money can buy . This is for the oily, the dry, the angry, the sensitive, the paranoid, the apprehensive, this product is even for those people who bite their straws (First of all please don’t abuse your straw, and secondly thankfully Face Hero is very inclusive, we stan). In the harsh, cold Winter, or the hot, sweaty Summer, the allergy filled Spring, all the way to kinda cold, kinda allergy prone Autumn, I have never needed another moisturizer (I say moisturizer but it’s an oil) or even a serum because Face Hero has me covered, always. I am a beauty junkie, I love trying new products and switching things in and out of my routine, BUT, this is the only product that I will never part from because it is just that dang good. “Olivia! What large claims you made!” Yes I know, dear reader, but I’m telling you it really is that stupid good.
“How can an oil be as glorious as you claim it to be? Will it clean my room? Will it tell me dinner party jokes?” No you silly squirrel, it won’t clean your room nor will it give you the giggles with a dinner joke (it specifies that it won’t on the bottom *see photo below*)
Okay, but speaking about the bottles, let me go on a tangent for a second. Now I know some people don’t care about packaging but c’mon. Incredible formula AND cute bottles? You’re killing me Go-To, just take all my money already! Go-To has also turned me into a peach fanatic, I mean how could I not be converted to the Peach Kingdom after seeing these adorable products. The bottle and its witty label are all thanks to Zoe Foster Blake, the brilliant woman behind Go-To whose praises I’ve sung many times before (she's incredible, I want to be like her when I grow up). The witty comments on the bottles are one of the many charms of the Go-To brand that has thrown me head over heels for Go-To. Man I am a sucker for perfect formulas and pretty bottles, but I implore you to wonder who isn’t. Okaaay, thanks for listening to my tangent, back to your regularly scheduled post.
This oil is everything you could ask for in an oil. It is reviving, but incredibly lightweight, it seeps gorgeously into your skin and leaves no residue, it calms the angriest of breakouts, turns dull, lifeless skin into model ready, beautiful, glass skin, AND smells like orange blossoms and rose gardenia. GO-TO! YOU ARE KILLING ME, WHY MUST YOU BE SO PERFECT UGHHHH (I’m not at all complaining please continue being spectacular… please).
This oil is filled with the most incredible blend of oils. Almond, jojoba, macadamia, brazil nut, apricot kernel, evening primrose, buriti, rosehip, kiwi seed, and sunflower WOW (claps). Go-To gave us 10 of the best oils for your skin but, buckle down, that’s not all. Calendula extract, arnica extract, vitamin e, totarol, and rosemary leaf extract are in there as well. This blend moisturizes as-well calms breakouts like none other. No nonsense, no nasties, just pure effective magic.
Now I know it might seem bizarre for me to tell you to put more oil on your breakouts or oil if you’re an oily skinned peep but don’t you fear you adorable human, this oil is precisely what oily skin needs. You see, oily skin needs hydration just as much as dry skin does. Oily skin is oily because your skin is either genetically oily or because your skin is compensating for the lack of oil by overproducing oil. Therefore, the best way to keep oily skin in check is to make sure your skin is ALWAYS thoroughly moisturized so it won’t have to overproduce oil. Also it’s important to mention that this oil and human made oil (aka sebum) is very different so this oil will not clog your pores. This product is an absolute game changer for oily skin, you will never want to part from it once you try it. If your skin is dry or combo, I don’t think I need to tell you why this product would also change your life.
All of those incredible ingredients turns into a skincare potion. It takes dry, flaky, dull skin and instantly revitalizes it. It delicately balances oily skin and keeps it in check. It brings back the hydration while delivering massive amounts of nutrients to make your face glowy, soft, and bright. This is no 10 minute glow either. As mentioned before, since it’s filled with nutrients, it helps to make your skin healthier which makes the glow permanent. INCREDIBLE.
This oil is for all skin types and all skin ages. I started using it at the tender age of 11 and have loved it ever since. BUT, my mom uses it, my grandma uses it, and all have sung their praises for this miraculous product. I have never needed another moisturizer or a serum because truly this product is insane. I use it before I use my Gua Sha (post coming soon on Gua Sha) and it is stupendous with it. I use this before I put on stage makeup for theater, and let me tell you makeup sits so beautifully on top. I use it on my neck, and sometimes I sneak some down to my hands when they are extra dry. I would bathe in this stuff, I tell you.
Now I understand, I must admit using oil scared me a little too in the beginning. It’s okay doll, it’s normal, you’re doing great sweetie. But trust me when I tell you that for me personally, nothing has come remotely close to being as good as this oil. It truly is magnificent and I’m convinced it’s 99% fairy dust and 1% magic. It is the most reliable product I have in my stash, not once has it irritated my skin or done anything but make my skin the envy of the town.
